FAQ's

What types of photos do you do?
I mostly shoot children and families. I am a lifestyle photographer so most of my photos are unposed, natural photos using mostly natural lighting. If you are looking for more traditional portrait style photos then I am probably not the photographer for you. However, if you look through my galleries and see some style photos that you like, I'm sure we can work together to achieve the look you are looking for. If you aren't sure, please email me. I will let you know if what you are asking is something I can do.

How much do you charge?
Please see the Price page for information regarding my charges.

Where are you located?
I am based out of Waterloo, but I am willing to travel anywhere within the Tri-Cities. If you are unsure, again please email me to inquire if you are within my "normal" travelling distances.  I am willing to travel, but there will be a travel cost depending on where you are.

When are you available?
I am available weekends and weeknights during the school year as I am a stay at home mom. However, during the summer I can arrange to do it during the day if needed.

What should we bring to the shoot?
I don't provide props at this time, so please bring your own if that is what you would like. If I feel that I have something that would suit your needs, I will bring it along.

What should I wear?
If you are doing a family shoot, then it is best to stick to simple non patterned clothing. I always like the look and feel of white tee and jeans. If you feel the need to dress up more, by all means do. Simple clothing, means more of a focus on faces and expressions.

How long will it take?
A basic photo session of your family will last 45min to an hour.
